San Pellegrino Quarter

San Pellegrino is one of the best-preserved medieval quarters in Italy, characterized by narrow alleys, stone arches, and unique external staircases known as 'profferli.' This atmospheric district looks much as it did when Sigeric passed through in the 10th century. For modern pilgrims, walking through its basalt-paved streets offers an authentic immersion into the medieval pilgrimage experience.
